Introduction to 3D Animation

On this module I will be learning how to rig a 3D character and How to animate using keyframe in MAYA.

The Bouncing Ball

For this assignment, I have created a football and a playground. My aim in this assignment to demonstrate weight of the ball and how the friction works and to animate by keyframes.

This Assignment We have been given three Emotions which we have to express though the 3D character.

and as the assignment require we had to provide 2 Images of each poses which was Clear Silhouettes and RGB Identifiable Poses.

Posing and "Head turn"

On this class we tried out how to close we can animate the 3d character to turn his head like a human. which includes the movement of the neck and eye close and open also the head goes slightly down then up. 

Walk

Animating a 3D Character, Walk Cycle.

This model was proved to us with the Control Nurbs, With the reference of an image I have completed this Walk cycle in MAYA.

Push & Pull

For the Push & Pull Assignment, We had this Character and use Constrain and object to the subject in order to show the effect of the object being realistically held by the character.

Lip Sync

Animating a scene for a 11Second Club soundtrack Challenge.

We been given this character and a sound clip from a website called 11Second Club. We have told to animate this character to that soundtrack.

As I was listening to this Audio Clip I came up with different ideas but didn't know what to come up with so then choose why cant I Make a concept of what this person is angry to his coworker or his boss and he's arguing.

With the concept, i have gone ahead and did my animation.

I have Came across with few Problems which was with the skin of the character the skin was Created using mental ray which newer MAYA does not support but still manage to get the head in correct texture.
